Fraction Monsters !!!!!

You have the task of creating a monster using only your fraction circles.

1.        Take out a clean sheet of white construction paper.

2.        Your paper can be set up either horizontally or vertically.

3.        Use pieces of your fraction circle set and arrange them into a shape that is creepy.

4.        Trace your pieces very carefully.

5.        Color your monster to make it “appealing”.

6.        Your job is to “name” your monster with a fraction or mixed number name:

a.        Place a piece of light paper over top and identify each fraction piece.

b.        Add all of your fractions together, using a calculator to find the name.

c.        Place the fraction name on the back and a “word” name on the front.

Good Luck and HAVE FUN!
